Hi Nico,
Many thanks for responding. I found the information on this forum very useful when upgrading my Clio iii 200 Radiosat Classic to the Radiosat Bluetooth.
After having fitted the microphone, C-box (second hand), Renaultsport Monitor LCD, USB/AUX connector, telephone compatible wiper stalk, brand new Radiosat Bluetooth radio, and having completed Clip reprogramming steps I could not get the radio to work.
The radio would illuminate with car headlights however it would not present me with the option to enter a security code e.g. the '0000' screen.
Closer investigation found that Clip reported a spurious "configuration fault" with the radio and would also prevent me from updating the radio configuration due to "command impossible".
Ultimately, the only option left was to perform a firmware update of the radio. Thanks to Clip 1.66, Reprog 1.51, and a very nervous 30 minute wait on my part, the radio instantly sprung into life. I can only assume there was a corruption of the configuration memory in the radio.
Thanks again to the forum for all its background information.
Ben.
